Lagos Fashion Police at the Miss Nigeria Pageant

Hey guys, its your favourite fashion ladies again... Yup you guessed right... Here is the Miss Nigeria review from us at LFP...

Congrats to the winner, thanks to Bella Naija for the pictures... Enjoy ;-)

Tiny: Even a maxi dress has a bit of fitting, this doesn't do well. Nice piece and colour but exceptionally wrong for Eku's body, I mean totally wrong, it doesn't work for me one bit. This makes Eku look like she's ready to spend the day at home doing nothing but watch tv with a bowl of popcorn in her hands, even for that, this isn't comfortable or suitable.

Toya: I am sorry, but I don't understand this dress, whether or not it whirls. Aside from the colour, this is a boring ass dress, and what is that woven bib like flap? And Eku, you need to stop losing weight, you are beginning to look anorexic.

Tiny: Yea Toya, I'm with you on that. Being too skinny isn't sexy, na, not anymore. Eat some chicken Eku, real greasy too.

Toya: Aunty Grace, this has to be the first time I have seen you in an age appropriate dress and you truly look amazing, however there is an oddness around the waist region but I shall ignore that. Nice balance between coffee brown and gold. You do look good for your 60 years, she is 60 right?

Tiny: Haha... Grace Egbagbe looks so beautiful, I wish I got the front look of the dress, the boob cut looks good and that's very important with a dress like this, I would also have loved to see what the wasit line of the dress looks like. The coffee brown works for her and those shoes look good. Overall, she did an amazing job.. Thumbs up ma'am.

Tiny: Now I was enjoying this outfit till I got below her knee and then I saw her shoes and I was like... Da hell is that??. This would have been lovely if the skirt were knee length, and even if it's still this long, those shoes are just so wrong, if she wore a pair of pants, I would probably not mind, but this is a no no. Doesn't work for me. Iove her hair and box clutch. Amazing

Toya: Whoever sets out to look like a stick of liquorice? I understand the monochrome concept but for a skinny chick, a pretty structured short flared skirt would have been stunning with your white blouse. And those shoes, nah babe, I don't care how nubian or eccentric you think you are, those are just butt ugly.

Tiny: Now this is stunning, I love this monostrap dress on Bola.. Wow! The yellow is amazing and I love the orange blend at the bottom of the dress. The gold shoulder detail makes the dress stand out and her smile.....flawless... Amazing look Bola

Toya: Tres Pretty, this is actually a red carpet worthy dress. I love the mustard yellow and the orange accents, the colours go exceptionally well with her glowing skin (I am off to blush beauty in a bit). I always thought she should go with longer lengths in dresses and it really works for her. The purple purse is a nice touch. Well balanced!

Toya: Elohor looks very demure. A real mature sexiness. I like it. Although bolder shoes and purse would have further improved this look. All the similar mink colours might come through as a bit washed out.

Tiny: Now this has got to be my first time seeing Elohor with a decent look, but ofcourse you know I dislike it when people misuse the 'cross leg' pose but she seems to have got it...a lil bit... Lol. Now this dress, really nice and classy. The hair really suits her and I'm with you on the shoes, should have done a bit better

Toya: Gentlemen callers, I didn't know that Miss Nigeria was a black tie event. Na wa oh. These 2 definately missed the turn into federal palace casino and ended up at eko hotel. Anyways it is cute to see the oldies not backing down, looking sharp hommies.

Tiny: Hahaha, aside that, I love this, I still have a wide grin on my face. Makes me feel like I'm the 60's. These men look absolutely fab.

Tiny: Hello lady, what do you think you are doing? No no, please explain what you have on? I feel like I'm watching a fulani movie.. I mean those shoessssss.... C'mon girl, that is just wrong. The design of this outfit is just wrong for the occasion... Totally!!!!

Toya: Mrs Costello, we know your hubby must definately have thought this was an african princess look but you do not fool us. That uneven hemline is just horrid. You have an athletic body and you can not pull off all these egdes. Please look to softer lines next time. Or where you off to perform at Fela's shrine?

Tiny: Miss Shaba, wow, you look pretty excited to be taking this picture o, that smile ehn.. Lol. Anyways, lovely outfit. Will I say you played it safe with the all black?? Hmmm. Love the clutch and the way you wore your hair, absolutely classy.

Toya: There is always something that doesn't quite excite me about the dresses this young lady wears, for me the fabrics sometimes look cheap. That aside, this LBD is actually sexy but the neckline would have been better if it sat abit lower. It helps that you have a pretty face so you do look hot in this dress.

Tiny: Another nice monostrap dress, the pink does works... Somehow...Infact the pink is too much, her nails are pink too. She looks like a tall candy floss.... And what is all that 'shekere' on the dress nowwww.. Ahn ahn... Its not an indian movie set o... And that hair looks ghetto... Wait... Not looks... It is Ghetto.

Toya: This chic looks like she fell out of a nollywood movie party scene where she was probably dancing with kanayo o kanayo or St obi. Wait is this a bridesmaid's dress updated with chains in a bid to modernise it? I am confused

Tiny: I take the indian bit back for the candy floss lady above... Datte here is actually on the set of an Indian movie... What in the h*ll is this?? I'm not even pissed coz I can't stop laughing

Toya: Datte, you have a sick body for someone that is not a spring chicken but I don't understand why you felt the need to wear a full bra with this indian prom dress when you could have easily worn a strapless bra. Please explain?

Toya: Efe Tommy oh, what the f*ck? The shirt sleeves are afraid of your wrists. The trousers are also jumping, where you pushed out of your house that night? Are those 2 displaced lines supposed to be suspenders? And oh God please remove that little hill on your head. Borrow a page from the elders in the white dinner jackets.

Tiny: Hahaha. Took the words right out of my mouth... I can't stop staring at the pants, looks like his about to be in a Michael Jackson dance video... I wonder if he'll ever shave that thing off his head... *sigh*

Toya: He is definetly the joker of this review.
